Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel to Paris next week for a meeting of foreign ministers from the Group of Seven leading industrialised nations.
The talks come as the United States maintains its naval blockade of Iran and pursues negotiations with Tehran through intermediaries. The administration has been urging allies to keep up pressure on Iran while leaving the door open to a negotiated settlement.
The G7 groups the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Canada, with the European Union also taking part. LN24 will report on the outcome of the meeting.
